gertjan nijhoff, architect

has been working at cepezed since 2019. The realisation of beautiful, sustainable buildings in pleasant cooperation is his aim. His analytical, wide-eyed view of interests, process and content is his added value in this.

Lucas van der Wee

Gertjan studied architecture at the HTS in Enschede and architecture at TU Delft. Before joining cepezed as a project architect, he worked at the office of Erick van Egeraat and later at MVSA Architects on the new WTC in Utrecht. Thanks to this broad experience, Gertjan immediately sees through the consequences that different architectural choices have on process, budget and use.

Gertjan strongly believes that good architecture results from a logical coherence of efficiency, sustainability and use. Based on this conviction, he is not guided by architectural form as a starting point.

In the Plus Ultra Leiden project, a large-scale multi-tenant research building, he enjoys working on the interaction between planning the sub-area at the urban planning level and developing an initial project at the detail level within this.
