Silvia has been working at cepezed since 2025. She is a sincere and gentle person, who takes great joy in sharing her passion.
Silvia obtained her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Sheffield, followed by a Master of Science at TU Delft. During her graduation research, she designed a garden along the Arzobispo River in Bogotá, featuring a series of inviting ‘community spaces’, designed to foster connection between people, water, and the land. The project was selected for Archiprix 2020, exhibited at the Nieuwe Instituut, the Dutch Design Week, and nominated for the EU Mies Award Young Talent 2020.
After completing her studies, Silvia spent six years at WAM architects. The small scale of the office enabled her to take on a wide-ranging role, in terms of content and coordination, across various projects. She is now keen to combine these skills with cepezed’s expertise and extensive experience in optimising material use and prefabrication processes.
In addition to her work as an architect, Silvia is also a professionally trained concert pianist. “Architecture thrives - like music - on harmony, structure, and creative sensitivity. As a concert pianist, I experience how technical skill, attention to detail, and discipline contribute to the creation of emotion and beauty. I aim to apply these same principles to architecture,” Silvia explains.
