Within the lecture series Methodologies of Architectural Reuse of the Heritage & Architecture studio of the Delft Technical University, cepezed-partner Ronald Schleurholts will deliver a lecture titled Value, placemaking and case studies this afternoon. Among other things, Schleurholts will explain cepezeds general design philosophy aimed at a high degree of prefabrication. By means of various case studies including cepezed's own office, he will consequently illustrate the way the office applies its philosophy to renovation and transformation assignments. Efficiency, value optimization, maximum preservation of existing qualities and harmony in contrast are core themes.
