Jort Kelder leads online debate about circular and remountable construction

TV personality Jort Kelder will lead a debate on 'circular and remountable construction in practice' on the 9th of November. The reason is the move of the Temporary Court of Amsterdam to Enschede. Chief Government Architect Francesco Veenstra is one of the speakers at this publicly accessible event.

about the Temporary Court of Amsterdam
The broadcast is live from the Temporary Court of Amsterdam, a much discussed practical example that is currently being dismantled and rebuilt at Kennispark Twente in 2022. This project was developed by dpcp, a collaboration between du Prie construction & development and cepezedprojects, was designed by cepezed and has served for over five years. The building has been fully thought out for disassembly and reassembly after initial use. That is now about to happen with the iconic building: Lagemaat BV will disassemble it and have it resurrected in 2022 at Kennispark Twente in Enschede, where it will be given a different function.

program 9th of November
In the midst of the preparations for this unique move, the project partners, led by Jort Kelder, will enter into discussions with external experts; about detachability, about the social impact and about the business case of circular and remountable construction.

Speakers: Menno Rubbens of dpcp and Arend van de Beek van Lagemaat BV discuss the different facets with government architect Francesco Veenstra, booster of the circular construction economy Jim Teunizen of Alba Concepts and inspirer, innovator and entrepreneur Jan Willem van de Groep.
Everyone with an interest in circular construction is invited to follow the livestream on the 9th of November from 4 p.m. (until 5:30 p.m. at the latest). You can participate via the chat. The online meeting is free of charge, but registration is required.
