The Green House in Utrecht has again been awarded as a practical example of sustainable construction. Today, the cepezed-designed circular pavilion won the public choice award of the Dutch Sustainable Construction Awards 2019, de Nederlandse Duurzaam Bouwen Awards 2019. The prizes were presented during the Sustainable Construction Congress in Leeuwarden.

Attendees from the industry were able to vote during a digital voting round in the conference hall. They could choose between nine nominees from three categories. The Green House was also nominated for ‘the Golden Frog’, the award of the ‘Most sustainable project’ category.

The Green House eventually won the public choice award with 34% of the votes. The municipality of Utrecht, home base of the circular pavilion, won ‘the Circular Ring’ in the category ‘Most sustainable municipality’.
