waking eye

The design consists of two elongated volumes, one of which is spectacularly cantilevered transverse to the head of the other. In the stacking is a high atrium that acts as an entrance. The cascading staircases also make this the connecting zone between all floors. The stacked volume has fully transparent facades at both ends that refer to the users' 'waking eye'. With its sturdy, corten steel facades, the building fits in well with its surroundings.

optimal flexibility

The low-rise building has a completely clear span. It houses the control room, where calls come in and are handled. The atrium is a mix of meeting and landing workplaces, and connects the ground floor with the top floor. The upper building features office and meeting rooms. At the cantilevers, the upper section is also completely column-free. This allows optimal flexibility of layout and use.

healthy environment

The building receives generous daylight and good control of temperature and air quality. It also has pleasant acoustics and is created with a minimum of materials, which are also sustainable. The interior is designed with warm, earthy tones and materials. It includes accents based on the natural environment of the Veluwe.

green and sustainable

The ensemble is located in a green environment with a slope surrounding the building. Matching the client's sustainability ambitions, the complex fully complies with the requirements for Nearly Energy Neutral Buildings (BENG).
