healthy place to be and warm interior
Our design consists of two elongated volumes, one of which is stacked spectacularly on the other and projects out at right angles. The stacking contains a high atrium which functions as the entrance. Fitted with cascading staircases, it is also the zone connecting the different storeys of the building. Additionally, the atrium holds a mix of meeting places and touchdown workplaces.
We have paid a great deal of attention to creating a healthy place to be. The building receives generous daylight and contains a lot of greenery, while temperature and air quality are fully controllable. Also, it has pleasant acoustics and it comes about using a minimum of materials, which are sustainable moreover. The interior has been designed with warm, earthy tones and materials. It contains accents based on the natural surroundings of the Veluwe area in which Apeldoorn is located.
