Ronald Schleurholts geeft online Winterlezing over nieuwe Inholland Sluisbuurt

cepezed

On the Zeeburgereiland in Amsterdam, the development of the Sluisbuurt is in full swing. The City of Amsterdam and Arcam are organising a series of five Winter Lectures on this subject. Ronald Schleurholts will give a lecture on Thursday 27th about the new building of -according to the client, Inholland University of Applied Sciences- 'the educational building of the future'.

future-proof
The new building of Inholland University of Applied Sciences will be centrally located in the future green residential and working district on the western tip of Zeeburgereiland. The building of approximately 30,000 m2 is almost energy-neutral due to triple glazing, heat and cold storage and solar panels in the facade and on the roof. The building is home to some 7,000 students. It is future-proof because it can be flexibly arranged and adapted thanks to cepezed's modular design.

winter lectures
In a series of five lectures, all aspects of the new Sluisbuurt are discussed. In part 1, the public space and the facilities were discussed. The lectures on the coming Thursday afternoons will deal with liveability and accessibility (part 2), education and campus development (part 3), housing quality and affordability (part 4) and sustainability and nature inclusiveness (part 5).

Tickets are for sale via Arcam. With a passe-partout you can watch one lecture for free and you can look back at all the sessions.
