lan handling technologies in use

Recently, the brand new headquarters of Lan Handling Technologies in Tilburg was taken into use. The internationally operating company is involved in the development, production and installation of handling systems for agro, food and pharma. Before, the Tilburg branches were scattered over different locations, now they come together in the new building.

The building was realized through intensive integral cooperation between several cepezed divisions. The architectural and interior designs are by cepezed and cepezedinterior respectively. cepezedbouwteam (cepezed construction team), cepezed’s construction management division, was responsible for the contracting and coordination of the construction. Without a main contractor, the building was thus realized by different companies that each had their own specialized activities.

The company building accommodates an engineering department, supporting office functions and assembly halls. It is composed of five connected, elongated naves of decreasing lengths. Together, these roughly form a rectangular triangle with a saw-tooth structure on the slanting side. The offices are situated in the shortest, transparent section along the provincial road. The other sections form the halls, that each have their own production street and a truck dock on the slanting side. Overall, the building has one atmosphere with a lot of transparency and a minimal difference between the offices and assembly halls.

Currently, the finishing touches are being put on the headquarters. The new company building will be festively opened at the beginning of September. The photos above show a small preview already.
