The new head office for Oldelft Ultrasound on the TU campus in Delft is being finalized for completion on March 1st. On the construction site, work is being done on the finishing of the building, its surroundings and the furnishing. A fire drill was conducted for the BREEAM certification.

just that bit different

A special feature of this final realisation phase is that, under the coordination of the cepezedbouwteam, work is simultaneously being carried out on the construction of the hull on behalf of the developer and on the implementation of the interior package on behalf of the tenant. This makes construction a lot more efficient and the building can be taken into use faster. Work is currently being done on the completion of the installations and painting and the finishing of the terrain and floors. The furnishment is also placed.

fire drill for bream

The new head office will receive a BREEAM-Excellent certification for both the hull and the interior. A fire drill was conducted this week to meet the requirements for this. With a cup of hot soup as a reward for the participants.

green facades

Partly because the building is located on the green TU campus in Delft, cepezed has invested in an ecological, nature-inclusive building for the developer and producer of medical equipment. To achieve this, large façade blades have been installed that will be covered with a mix of climbing plants in the future. The vegetation consists of a diversity of specifically selected climbing plants, chosen for both physical and aesthetic qualities. This includes the sun requirement, water requirement and frost resistance of a species, but also the growth rate.
