Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU) Research Building 

This expansion of the VU focuses on scientific and medical research. cepezed is realizing this project together with engineering firms Pieters Bouwtechniek, DWA and DGMR. The research building is expected to be delivered in 2021.

on the fast-growing Amsterdam Zuidas  

The building is part of the VU Campus Zuidas and will be situated at the School Werk Tuinen location along the De Boelelaan. The development takes an important step towards renewing facilities for science and technology within the VU.

More than just research  

The VU research building has diverse types of lecture rooms, spaces for self-study and work and office spaces. For scientific purposes, there are rooms for practicals, biosafety laboratories, electron microscopy rooms and laser facilities. Lastly, the building will contain catering, meeting places and a technology service centre.
